Frequently Asked Questions
What is Integrative Nutrition?
Integrative nutrition is a whole-body approach that looks beyond isolated symptoms to explore how your diet, hormones, digestion, stress, sleep, and lifestyle all work together. It’s about getting to the root of your health concerns—not just putting a plaster on them.
What can I expect from a consultation?
Your first consultation includes:
A deep-dive into your full health and medical history
Review of your diet diary and any recent test results
A personalised plan including nutrition, lifestyle, and supplements (if appropriate)
Practical handouts and guidance
Referrals or further testing suggestions if needed
Every plan is bespoke—designed around your body, history, and goals.
What kinds of things can you help with?
I work with women and children across a wide range of issues, including:
Hormonal imbalances (PMS, perimenopause, PCOS, etc.)
Fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum nutrition
Digestive health (IBS, bloating, food intolerances)
Energy, sleep, skin issues, and mood
Eczema, allergies, and food sensitivities in children
Teen health: acne, fatigue, irregular periods, low mood, exam stress
Not sure if I can help? Just reach out—if it’s outside my scope, I’ll point you in the right direction.
Do I need to have something “wrong” with me to book?
Not at all! Many clients come to me looking to optimise their health, prevent future issues, or support a life stage like pregnancy, menopause, or growth in children. You don’t have to be unwell to benefit from support.
Do you work with children?
Yes—my practice includes children and young people from birth to 25. Whether it’s fussy eating, eczema, sleep issues, anxiety, or teen hormonal support, I offer age-appropriate, gentle, and effective nutrition and lifestyle strategies.
Will you tell me to give up all my favourite foods?
Nope. I follow the 80/20 approach: 80% of the time we focus on nourishing your body, and 20% is your space to enjoy life freely, without guilt. This isn’t about restriction or perfection. It’s about balance that lasts.
Do you offer testing?
Yes. If needed, I may recommend functional or private testing such as hormone panels, gut health tests, or nutrient profiles. I also review any recent NHS or GP-led testing and refer back to your doctor if appropriate.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your goals and your body. Some people see results after just one or two sessions, while others benefit from ongoing support over a few months—especially for more complex or chronic issues. I offer one-off consultations as well as longer-term packages.
What’s your cancellation policy?
I kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee.
How do I book?
