Hi, I’m Elizabeth Cooney – Integrative Nutritionist

After 15 years in the fashion industry as a graphic designer and art director, I found myself increasingly drawn to the incredible ways food, stress, sleep, and environment can shape our health.

What started as a personal journey to feel more energised and in control of my family’s and my own well-being led me to study a Nutritional Therapy at College of Naturopathic Medicine. Along the way, I realised that so many people are silently struggling with things that aren’t taken seriously enough—period pain, fatigue, bloating, skin flare-ups, insomnia, mood swings. We’re told it’s “normal” or given a temporary fix, but rarely ask: why is this happening in the first place?

My approach focuses on the root-cause and the whole-body. I specialise in women’s health (from hormones and fertility to perimenopause and postpartum) and children’s health (breastfeeding support, introducing solids, early years nutrition, teenage years through age 25).

I work with people who want real answers, not just symptom relief. And I do it in a way that’s sustainable, flexible, and judgement-free. Yes, that means wine and pasta can still have a place at the table. It’s all about balance.

What is integrative nutrition?

A science-backed, whole-body approach that works alongside conventional medicine to uncover root causes, not just symptoms, so you can feel better in the long term. Everything is connected, and healing starts with understanding why.

My Approach

  • Root-Cause Focused

Symptoms are your body’s way of asking for help. I help you uncover the root cause so you’re not just masking issues, but creating space for real, lasting healing.

  • Whole-Body Approach

Your body is deeply interconnected. I look at how your body, diet, lifestyle, and environment work together—connecting the dots to support everything from fertility to menopause, eczema to teen anxiety.

  • Balanced, Sustainable Change

Wellness isn’t about restriction. Using the 80/20 rule, I focus on habits that support your health while leaving room for joy, flexibility, and the foods you love, without guilt.

  • Prevention Over Reaction

Why wait until something breaks? Up to 80% of chronic issues are lifestyle-driven. Integrative nutrition builds resilience early (especially in children and teens) shaping health for now and the future.

  • Personalised, Not One-Size-Fits-All

Your body is unique. Your health plan should be too. I create tailored nutrition and lifestyle support that fits your needs, goals, and routines. No one-size-fits-all, just what works for you.

“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.”
